Zotac GTX 1080 AMP EXTREME Back Plate

I have a Zotac Gtx 1080 AMP Extreme and it is awesome! The only issue that I have with it is that the back plate is a bright yellow and my system has a heavy blue theme. I knew it was yellow when I purchased the card but I had tinted glass on the case, so it faded out the yellow. I would like to upgrade to a better case, but the case I`m looking into (Cooler Master Pro 5) has clear glass and the yellow really disrupts the color scheme. I was wondering if there was any way to cover up the yellow parts of the back plate? I have never taken an accurate temperature of the back plate but it is hot to the touch. So is there any way to cover up the yellow sections without creating any thermal issues? Thanks!

Glitter.

That would actually work. The backplate does very little for cooling. I would just take off the backplate, mask it, and spray paint over it.

Moved to Graphics Cards.

I actually think yellow and blue looks good together if done right.
