Any ddr3 kit will be basically the same. Just get the cheapest from a big brand

I was wondering if an i5 4460 is compatible with DDR4 RAM or if it's only compatible with DDR3 RAM. If the i5 4460 is not compatible with DDR4 RAM, what is a good motherboard that supports DDR3? What is a good 16GB DDR3 RAM kit I can use?

It will only support ddr3.

Any 1150 board will support ddr3. 

For the most part, ram is ram. Just get a cheap kit that looks nice to you.
