Windows 10 apps missing?

Why is my windows start menu apps are like this and how do I fix it.

What happens when you click on them?

Considering that the icons are all download arrows, I'd imagine clicking them with either download the app or download an update for the app.

You get this screen when you click on the apps with arrows on them.

Well have you connected to the internet lately?  Have you updated recently and have you connected to the internet since then?

Yes, I updated the windows 10 to windows 10 Anniversary with the updates then went to the windows store to update the apps then restart my PC then got those apps with arrows.

Did you ever use any system tweak tools before?

Are you connected to the internet right now?  I'm pretty sure it's just telling you to download/update the apps.

No. I never had any issues like this before so I never used system tweak tools before unfortunately.

the windows 10 installer in know for screwing up and causeing these type of problems

the only way to fix this bug is to reinstall the os from a medium like a usb or disk

Ok, Yes I think your right Samiscool51 I might would just have to reinstall the OS thank guys.

Something you can try, is to make a new account, and see if everything works there, if it does, transfer your stuff on the other account.

If your current account is a Microsoft linked account, unlink it first, restart, and when you create the new account you make it link to your account.
