This is my parts list so far^ it doesn't include the monitor or peripherals because I'll be doing further shopping and researching for that.

I have 2 kinda "questions" if you will, I'm not entirely the best at this computer-parts searching thing so I thought I'd come here to ask for help.

I'm looking for a mid-tower case that provides pretty average to above-average ventilating (around 50$?). This is because of my second question, as of now for the case I have in my list, (Cosair 100R ATX Mid-Tower Case) includes a 120mm fan included with the case, should I stick with just the 120mm fan or should I go ahead and buy extra fans for the case? Theres an amazon link that includes a "silent" version of this case which basically just includes another 120mm fan and I was wondering if the extra pricing was worth it. I don't really know how hot the build will get so I wasn't really sure about this case or any case.

"Silent Version"^

If so, any recommendations of what fan I should get? Or even if another will fit in the case, again I'm pretty new to the pc building world so, sorry if I'm lacking in my descriptions or anything S:

Why don't you get a RX 480 4GB instead of a RX 470 8GB? They're the same price.

Show me one for $220 that's in stock, 8GB one. If the 470 is at MSRP, which should be less than $200 it's a good deal. A 470 also is only 1-2 Fps behind a 480

The 470 he has is $239. And here's the 480 for the same price.

470s should be $200 or less, and that's above MSRP of it already.

You don't need an expensive hard drive, a WD Blue is fine.

The EVGA 500B isn't great, this PSU is and it's the same price. http://pcpartpicker.com/product/FQ648d/corsair-power-supply-cp9020101na

I mean isn't it usually better to have 8GB on a GPU rather than 4? Idk that's what I've usually heard around. What's the major drawback/difference in it?

Also I heard the WD Black is primarily for gaming? I didn't do that much research on the hard drive so could you explain that to me too? :)

But could I get some feedback on the case? X:

Thanks for the feedback on the rest of the build too~ ^~^

Nah you'll never use those 8GB in 1080p anytime soon. Even when games start using more than 4GB, you can lower settings such as texture resolution.

WD Black drives have features for power users and workstations, that a consumer won't need to use (such as RAID or advanced data recovery)

WD Blue drives are still reliable and will work just fine.

I'm not a big fan of the corsair 100R but it's a fine case

If you wanna flash a 4GB 480 make sure it's the reference PCB so that you actually do have 8GB RAM

And be ready to have to reflash it from the integrated graphics if something goes wrong

I am not a big fan of the 100r, but it is a pretty good case. I have the DIYPC D480 and I love it. You really can't beat it for the price, and it comes with 5 very quiet preinstalled fans. I know it is not a name brand case, but it is a very good deal and I think that it is great (I used it in my person build). Click here to look at it on Newegg. They have a black w/ window, black without window, and white w/ window. However, I have heard that the white metal and white plastic do not match very good.

As for the hard drive conversation that is going on, I say get a WD blue and then use the saved money on a cheap SSD (the ADATA SP550 is halfway decent,as it is what I use).

Thanks :D Another question, when I'm looking through pcpartpicker, for a WD Blue, theres like 3 similar ones but the main difference is the amount of GB/$1.00, is that important at all? Also, would the case you recommended be able to fit all my parts and be able to support each of the 5 fans with my motherboard/psu?

To answer you first question, as far as I can tell the different WD Blue drives have a different capacity (1tb, 500gb, etc.) therefore resulting in a different price per gb. Also, there are some drive with the same capacity that have different prices per gb. This is because different sellers have different prices on them. As for your second question, yes I do believe that it should support all of your parts. I think that it says that it supports micro atx motherboards on the web page. As for the fans, if you use the included fan controller it only requires one Molex connector for all five. Please note that while the fans are silent on the low setting, the are quite audible on the high setting. Now I will go throwing the issues that I had with it. First, it only supports 3 hard drives as it has 2, 3.5in mounts and 1, 2.5in mount. Also, you will have to take some time with cable management. There is plenty of room, but the side panel is not bulged out. It is not impossible, but it does take a little time (15-30 minutes depending on your skill level). Also, for the manufacturer to get all of these features at a low price they do skimp out on packaging  a little. Mine arrived fine, but it did not travel very far. Please remember to check compatibility on your own no matter what anyone tells you. :) If you want to see my build click here. Also, if you are looking for a good NON-gaming monitor this one is a good choice. Also, if you are looking for some case lighting, these are a good and cheap choice.

One final word of advice, if you are not in desperate need of a computer, wait till the holidays. This is when things are going to be on sale and you can save a ton of money. This is how I got some of my components for a great price (although I purchased them around the 4th of july).

When you reference the side panel not being bulged out, is that towards the cable management? If so then I'll find a work around for that. And towards your monitor choice, whats the difference between a "gaming" monitor and a non-gaming monitor, I just am kinda looking for one that has a bright display, fast refresh rate and etc. so I guess features that represent a gaming monitor?

Also could you explain the pros/cons of having a micro atx motherboard compared to a regular one? Is it just the features present or should I just generally opt out for the regular kind with the case you're suggesting?

Yes, the bulging of the side panel is a reference towards cable management. if you look at this case you will see that there is a bulge on the side panel, this allows more room for cable on the back of the motherboard tray. A gaming monitor usually has very fast refresh rate (<4ms) while this monitor has a refresh rate of 7ms. There are other differences but let's just say that this monitor is not a gaming monitor, more for multimedia and web surfing. That being said, if you are are not a hardcore gamer, you could still game on it. This is a great monitor and I use it daily.

there are several pros and cons of a micro atx motherboard. First, there are obviously fewer features on the board, namely less PCI slots. However, a micro atx board allows you to have a small form factor if you so choose. With the case that I suggested the main con is purely cosmetic as it will not take up the entire motherboard tray. This being said it MIGHT look as though there is wasted space inside the case.

So having a regular size board is preferred?

Well could you possibly find me a monitor that would be considered a gaming monitor? Since I spend a lot of my time gaming, I wan't to be satisfied with my monitor if I'm gonna pay a large amount of money for it, somewhere in between 100~170 would be nice.
