OK so I have never built a custom PC before and I was wanting to get some input from some other people before I go and build it. This computer is not for me but rather one of my Dad's coworkers was wanting to know if I could build her one, I accepted because I have always wanted to build one (but I never had enough money to do so). I'm also just wanting to make sure that I don't mess it up. She said that what she wanted it mainly for running Excel, Windows Media Player, Chrome, store photos and music and basically whatever she could throw at it as far as daily use goes (so I don't think that I have to worry about her wanting to run Crysis on it). Besides that she is also on a tight budget so I have to make it as cheap as I can without cutting too many corners. And I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to make an overpower or underpowered system.

So here's the specs (this wont include the case and other compents that wont effect the overall performance, I just want to get some input as far as performance goes).

CPU: Intel Pentium G3250 Dual-Core 3.2GHz 3MB Cache

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-B85M-A LGA 1150 Micro ATX

HDD: Seagate Barracuda STBD2000101 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache

RAM: Team Elite Plus 8 GB SDRAM DDR3 1600 (1x8GB Stick)

Also one side question. When going about RAM configurations does having a configuration of the same amount of memory but in different sticks help in performace? for example: will 4x2GB benefit the build at all or will it just do the same as having 1x8GB?

Thanks

(P.S. if you need me to be more specific in what is all going to go into this just let me know)

Do any of you know if Intel CPU's come with their own coolers or if I need to order one?

Tray/OEM versions come without a cooler, boxed versions come with a "stock" cooler, which should be fine for your computer.

I really like this one actually, the CPU in this one is benchmarked way higher than my original one (yours 5334 and mine 3297) I would have to add a few extra parts like a DVD/CD Burner and possibly a WLAN adapter. Other than that I really appreciate the suggestion.
