PC Build/Upgrade help

Hi,

I am very new to PC building and still learning about its concepts.

I mostly play MOBAs (Dota 2) and CS:GO. Thinking about playing the Batman Arkham games as well.

I would like a recommendation from you guys out there of what I should be doing or upgrading on my build for better fps/ gaming performance.

Currently my fps when playing is around 80-90 fps on max settings in 1080p, would like to reach the tasty 120 fps for a smoother gaming experience.

Should I already be having 120 fps for this setup? Is there ways to boosting fps or should I just flat out upgrade a component?

CPU: AMD FX 6300

MB: GIGABYTE 78LMT-S2

GPU: 2GB GIGABYTE GTX 950 WINDFORCE 2X OC

RAM: 8gb (2x4gb) 1600 G.Skill Sniper CL9

PSU: Deepcool DE500 (500W)

STORAGE: 1TB WD Blue 7200 RPM HDD

Running Windows 10

P.S tried running Dota 2 on dx9 and dx11; 32 bit, 64 bit. No noticeable differences.

For future references what would you recommend for me to upgrade to keep up with games in the future.

Any help is appreciated

Swap out the 950 for an RX 460 or 470

If swapping GPUs, will I experience any bottlenecks?

I would recommend getting rx480. rx470's price are way too close to the 480s, migh as well put a bit more money for the rx480

Can everything else in my build handle the rx 480/470?

dota and cs go are not cpu intensive at all, so you wont be bottleneck.

As for batman, im pretty sure (someone confirm pls) ur cpu will be fine

btw, migh as well toss in an ssd even tho if wont affect fps :P

Sounds great, I might go for the gpu upgrade if there are no bottlenecks.

Just in case though, if I need to upgrade my cpu what can you recommend?

Yeah, I'm definitely buying an SSD for them fast load times.

Quick question is it normal that I am not reaching 120 fps on the current setup?

Thanks!
