So I´m looking to improve my audio with a pair of bookshelf speakers(Passive or Active), got 530 usd for a pair and like 100usd for and DAC/AMP

So far I got these options

KRK 6 G3

JBL 305

M-Audio BX5

Paradigm Shift A2

With  a Steinberg UR12 powering my mic and sending signal to my X2´s

If I go passive

Fluance SX6

ELAC Uni-fi B5

MartinLogan Motion 15

And a SMSL M3 amp also powering my headphones

I´m in Mexico so my options are pretty limited, any help will be appreciated

Thanks

SNIP

I would go with the LSR 305 or the ELAC B5.

Heh, I have the KRK Rokit5 G3, OP's looking at its beefier sibling, the Rokit6 G3. Still, I can honestly say that the Rokit5 has disappointed me, I use it for a variety of uses: gaming, music and movies. It's not a bright pair of speakers, treble is there when needed, but isn't at all bright. Mids is clear w/o graininess and bass is pretty good (you can boost or lower both Low and High Frequencies on back of speakers). Bass is punchy yet tight, I don't feel that it bleeds into the mids.....I'd originally wanted the LSR305, but I'm pretty happy with the Rokit5 G3.

I'd meant to say, " I can honestly say that the Rokit5 has NOT disappointed me, and I'm pretty happy with the Rokit5 G3".
