Mouse Cable Replacment Help??

I have a Perixx MX-1800 (to this day best mouse i have personaly used for my hand)

 

its been painted and re painted many time to fit my PC build theme and now its going to be painted again,

 

but this time i want a cable to match, as it original had a red braided cable,

 

so my question is can i swap it for any replacment cable with the same connector like the logitech replacment cables you can buy on ebay (see link)
