School Cell Project

I have to do a cell project for school, I had the idea of building a custom case as either a plant cell (angled) or an animal cell (round) for the plant cell I was thinking an (as previously stated) angled design somewhat like the iBUYPOWER Revolt 2 (in shape only). Or, for the animal cell shape a round platform with all the parts secured and a clear dome placed on top (with airflow of course). I was wondering if the LTT community had any ideas or recommendations (i am trying to do this as cheaply as possible, working or not).

round is very hard to do and takes a lot of time 

plant cells are rectangular which makes it easier due to lots of case being rater rectangular although you will need to do a custom paint job on the case

Pretty sure plant cell will be easier for some sort of a color theme

what I was thinking for the round was a circular piece of wood (or other material) with all components put down under a clear dome

i have no idea where you can get a clear dome from but that might work aswell
