Forum search function?

I was looking for a post I made a while ago but ti seems the forum search is not working. I know its apparently broken btu for the most part it works. Does the search only work for a small amount of time or can it search all the way back to the first post ever made? i was thinking maybe my post is too old and doesn't show up.

If you know approximately when you made that post, you could probably use google to search LTT from month A to month B and have some keywords on what it's about and your username.

It's easier to search if you search on google.

1. Go to https://www.google.ca/

2. Type in what you want to search

3. Add in linustechtips.com after it

4. Search

If you made your thread while the forum was using vBulletin 5, then your thread was not indexed by Invision Power Board (IPB).

Use Google for threads made prior to the migration of the forums.

 

All IPB-indexed topics can be found using the search function.
