Stay a server or make a gaming pc

Hello Everyone,

 

I happened upon a man who is willing to give me an hp proliant dl380 g6 for a reasonable price. I am most likely going to buy the server, but the problem is that I have no knowledge of what to do with a server. Linus posted a video on turning a server (at least the main parts) into a gaming PC and that seemed interesting, but keeping the server as is also seems interesting. Any advice?
