Sup guys, i have all the parts ready to purchase this week and I already ordered a 1070 , i have an second board option, its an Asrock Extreme matx, http://pcpartpicker.com/product/6JfmP6/asrock-motherboard-z170mextreme4

its cheaper than the Gygabite and has good features as well, what do you think about the difference?
http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Foxslink/saved/khjKHx

I would get the Gygabite because it has 1 more USB port (I hate it when a company makes a sweet motherboard and puts only a stupid 4-5 usb ports on it someone needs to make an 8 USB Port Board, all of which are 3.0)

Got an Android, never going back to apple again (notice I spelled apple with a lowercase and Android with an uppercase)

i see, it has Realtek ALC887 audio , Gigabytes is better ALC1150 , it has intel lan chipset too, so its a draw there, looks like this is actually the cheapest Asus board with 10Gbps USB 3 Type C and an M.2 x4 slot (less clear on the details, but probably NVMe and U.2 compatible) , but Gigabyte has nice features too

yes but do you truely need the better audio; no. Most people prefer the intel LAN to any other companies

Seasonic G's aren't the best at the $80 price range, RMxs are, and EVGA G2s close by.

Definitely get a Cryorig H5 instead of the H7 if you can. Big cooling difference. If you can find a Raijintek Ereboss, that's better than the H7 and usually costs $40

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

Computer having a hard time powering on? Troubleshoot it with this guide. (Currently looking for suggestions to update it into the context of <current year> and make it its own thread)

Gigabyte also has Intel lan, if i were to choose Asus this seems the best value right now http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=MB-Z170-E&c=CJ

Is there a reason why you prefer Asus? The soundcard is a good extra to have, specially since not buying DAC

Regarding the PSU your right, i could go for EVGA g2 Gold 550 : http://pcpartpicker.com/product/qYTrxr/evga-power-supply-220g20550y1

or even g1 650  http://pcpartpicker.com/product/g63RsY/evga-power-supply-120g10650xr

550 should be more than enoguh for 1 gpu

thanks folks
