Razer Chroma 2016 LED failure

I love my chroma keyboard. However today it randomly did this (ironically while watching some Linus coverage of PAX, you're bad luck bro, lol). I normally keep it on solid blue, but outtl of nowhere the colors "shorted out" and I can't change them through the software. I disables all lights to show you the keys affected. What do you think, is it dead or fixable?

I'd say see if there is anything like updating it's firmware, but I doubt it. My last Razer purchase was my Lycosa Keyboard, and I still regret it, the build quality leaves a lot to be desired.
