What do you recommend?

I would like any suggestions if possible on my first build.  Around 2k maybe a little more to build on.  Heres my 2 parts list:

I do a little bit of everything, wanna start gaming and I also work on some editing. 4 to 6 six virtual machines as well.

Very similar, nice builds. Although the cpu cooler is louder than many at load.

 

The X99 build would be my choice.

I actually recommend this build. I got an air cooler, because good air cooler is quieter than liquid cooler, and it performs similar.
