I'm not sure whether the Asus GTX 1070 ROG STRIX would fit in this config as the PC I'm building in a few weeks is exactly like it.

It's about 1.25 inches longer than the 980tis use in Ed's build... might be tight with a rad but without a rad (or in a larger case) it should be fine

Well what size does the case support up to in GPUs? Then look at the 1070 you want to buy and see it's measurements, and see if it will or not.

I have a Strix 1070 in an NZXT Manta and it works fine.

According to Newegg on both parts, the 1070 Strix is 300mm, and the case supports 370.

Just an FYI, the cheaper NON OC Strix 1070 OC's better than the factory OC'd one. My Strix 1070 is running at 2150 boost clock while gaming with a 235mhz OC to the boost, and 1350 to the memory running at 9350.

Ah okay, I knew it would fit the case just wasn't sure if it would fit with the rad config in that build as It's the same position I want mine in :)

Add the rad thickness (with installed fans) to the gpu length and if there is at least like 5mm left you should be in good shape... just buy from somewhere you can return if required!

Even with the H100 which  is 27mm thick, and a standard 25mm fan, you'd still have 18mm of room left in the front by the GPU area.

Just gotta take a look at the numbers and see. Also PCPartpicker will help with some questions about compatibility.

Then if it doesn't work, and someone says it won't, then try it anyway just to prove the haters wrong.

Case in point: Corsair 380T Supports an H100, but with the ROG Z170 Impact, I was told it wouldn't work. Tried it anyway, had just enough clearance to work. Ended up returning the motherboard though, due to another issue, which turned out to be a dead CPU.
