Old drivers

Im building a new computer and im reusing my HDD but it has drivers from my old hardware. Should i be worried about that, or is it just fine to boot it up and uninstall them?

How old is this "old" HDD?

Is your OS installed on that drive, are you going to be using said OS from the HDD (I would advise getting a new ssd instead of using the hdd, speed boost and all)

It is going to be an extra drive. Im buying a new one tonight to go with my build. Im just booting up on it for a few minutes to transfer everything to the new one

You'll be AOK. At absolute worst it won't boot (it will). Windows will find driver inconsistencies that matter and fix them before booting.

Im going to reuse this post.

So i have the old hdd and new hdd in the same pc. How do i transfer windows from the old one ti the new?
