Hi ,i'm new to PC Building and after i build myself a pc i encounter a problem .

My system is :

      i5 6402P

      8GB X1 Corsair value DDR4
      Corsair CX 650M PSU

      Msi GTX 1060 ARMOR

      Gigabyte GA-B150M-D3H

      WD Cavier Blue 1TB
      120GB Kingston SSD
       Asus Optical Drive

When i play game like GTA V it will freeze and my PC will become completely unresponsive , all i can do is hard shutdown and reboot it

I tried to search up other forum and other people answer and i have tried alot of things
the only issues that i found is with Hardware Monitor that my TMPIN 2 is very hot while under load , CPU runs at 50c and GPU about 60c

i tried reinstall the drivers and it didn't work
i tried reinstall window 7 Home premium 64bit it didn't work
i tried flashing the BIOS and it didn't work

im also running my PC through a extension cord , does it effect anything ?

i can't seems to fix this issues and if someone can help me i will be VERY GRATEFUL :D

What is the power plug of your country's amperage rating? (If you didn't understand what I just asked, just tell me what country does that plug come from)

TMPIN 2 on Gigabyte is supposedly your mosfet's/vrm.

I have never had a newer gen Gigabyte board that didnt have vrm issues... had an X99 Gigabyte board die 2 days after being bought because of the vrm, no overclock.

I would suggest warrantying your board, or purchasing something other than a gigabyte. Asus and MSI are my goto's.

*edit* I dont think 50/60 is that hot for mosfet... try running prime and see what temps you get.

If able to can you monitor the temps of your cpu and gpu one of those may be overheating and causing the system to shutdown to protect itself

thanks for the reply :D

okay , i tried running prime 95 , it freezes at around 7-9 Minute .
But my CPU temp is 54c at MAX until its just freeze while my TEMPIN2 reached 75c at MAX

I'm from Malaysia so yeah :D

if nothing works then i'll go return my motherboard for other board to see if it fix the TEMPIN2 temperature issues
