Headphone decision

So, I am looking for a budget pair of headphones, and I have narrowed it down to two.

 

The Sony MDR-V55, and the AKG K518

 

Many others have suggested different pairs of headphones, but they were over my budget due to the price difference in Canada.

 

If someone could help me narrow down the pros and cons of each, it would be great. I'm having a hard time choosing between the two. I'm mostly just going to use the pair with my phone, and my laptop if that helps.

Don't know anything about the MDR-V55 sorry but the AKG K518 are only OK i personally found them to be uncomfortable with muddy sound quality especially on the higher tones and over saturated lows they really disappointed me since the AKG 450's are my favorite low cost headphones 

The only difference between a politician and a criminal in patience . A criminal will try to take everything immediately where as a politician known to take it one small piece at a time
