hey guys, belive it or not i got a gf .

i just bought a new computer for editing : intel core i7 6800k

asus stix 1070

32 gb of ram 

2 samsung ssd

and i want to share this computer with her. we both edit and want to do it on the same time in 2 different setups.

can i do it? using 2 monitors and 2 sets of keyboard and mouse ofcourse.

Yes, its Intel VT at work. Altough, your splitting the processing power of 3 cores and 6 threads to each one of you, which should result in considerably longer working time to get the job done. Altough, if those 32GB of ram are also split and are quite faster +3000Mhz and those SSD just happen to be 950 Pro's NVME drives, it should still work fine. Gpu wise, it can output for both monitors but im supposing it will balance the workload between both.

 

I think thats it. Anyone else got a wonderful opinion that doesnt implicate saying your a fool? :k
