So I really do hate being "that guy" who posts asking about stuff no one can know about (graphics cards that haven't been released yet in this case)  but in some quick googling it looks like the NDA on AMDs Hawaii core cards will be lifted tomorrow.  Does that seem to be a pretty legit rumor?  Or is it exactly that....a rumor?  I'm looking forward to seeing benchmarks and watching tons of youtube videos tomorrow if it will be lifted.  Thanks for any info and sorry if this question has been asked and answered a million times here.

Pretty sure that NDA has been pushed back for some reason. The 290 and 290x are supposedly ready for a 29th and 24th of Oct release respectively.

That's all still speculation though

AMD never announced a release date, so them saying it's not delayed should mean nothing to us. Because they never officially said it's coming out tomorrow...

Yea this exactly, if the NDA date was never 'released' they can push it back and say there was no delay because no one was supposed to announce when the NDA would be lifted.

Depending on the pricing ill be going straight for 290's if it can tip a 780 or if the 290X is cheap enough 1 now and another for later!

Bring it on, audio is interesting... no x-fire bridge is welcomed and Mantle if it works out the way they plan will be AMAZE-BALLZ

The card i'm waiting for is the R9-290 (non X version).

Should be the new 7950 and should offer better price/performance than it's big brother. Judging by the spec sheet even this card will annihilate the 280-X. Hopefully it will also be a good overclocker and not over-priced.
