Yeah this, also Alternate is the site I use the most to purchase hardware for my PC.

And look at 2:01 : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CljK1bUT_oU

Ironic how it is from Eindhoven, shipped to the states and isn't even available here in the country where it came from.

Hah, nice catch. The thing with that is, the MSI card will be avaible in the netherlands eventually. I have no idea why that card is not avaible yet in the NL. MSI is a Taiwanese based company. You could wait for it if you want, but that Asus card is not bad at all either.

Alternate doesn't have everything I suggested tho.

NZXT Phantom windowed, Asus Z77 Sabertooth, Intel 2600K, Noctua NH-D14, EVGA 780 Classified, Crucial Ballistic Tactical, Crucial M4 128GB + Samsung 850 EVO, Corsair RM850, Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty Peripherals: Sennheiser HD598, FinalMouse Classic, SteelSeries Qck Heavy, Ducky Shine Zero (MX Brown), AOC G2460PF & Qnix QX2710

Build Log: Phantom - Antique Noctua

Ow that's pretty awesome! Did not know that. TIL, any source for that? I mean, they are basicly the same card. But I just figured that mantle was build on the card, a chip or something. But if it's software (firmware) and they just need to upgrade.

It is api that will work on all gcn cards (7970, r9-280x, etc)

Allright did not see the price, only saw 16GB and instant reaction was, no. Yes BF4 recommends 8GB but i'll say that ill smash my current GPU with a hammer and video tape it, if games will use more then 8GB within 1 year. Aswell the H100i is not quieter then the CM EVO i suggested, the stock fans off the H100i are terribly loud. Just because it's watercooled doesn't mean it's super quiet.

Prices are diffrent, in general it is that 200$ GPU = 200€ GPU despite the fact that the euro is value'd higher then the dollar. So it makes no sence to use the USD and put a build together.

Anyway, if you are dutch. There is a site called Tweakers.net, they have a pricewatch wich is pretty good. Anyway here is the same build, kinda. The MSI card is not on the market here yet. And the case is sadly not on the pricewatch. It might be possible to get somewhere here in the Netherlands, but then you have to really look for it.

In b4 trippepost :D

a h100i is definitly better performing then a 212EVO.. espacially considering this build should last a few years, he will get more when getting PROPPER cooling, which is NOT a hyper 212. You could also say : stay with the stock cooler, and put a NF-F12 on it!... makes just no sense for such high end CPU's... considering AMD's recomended maximum Temp on FX 8xxx is 65 degrees, which WILL be passed when overlocking this on a Hyper212 whatever..

CPU: Intel i7 4790K @4.8GhZ  CPU Cooler: Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 2  Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97 UD3H  GPU: Asus ROG RX 480 8G OC Memory: 32GB Gskill Ares 2400Mhz  Storage: 2x Crucial M4 512GB SSD (raid0)  / 1TB Seagate FireCuda SSHD Case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA P2 750W  Operating System: Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB (64 bit) Other: NZXT Hue+ LED Controller with 8 LED Strips for desk and PC lighting

Ofcourse I won't be shopping in the US but making a build more available international outside of Europe gets more audience, I can get the same builds for like. 800-900EU if I shop for a while.

Anyways, thanks all for the recommendations on the parts.

Where in Europe? Europe is pretty big...

How is a Hyper 212 Evo not proper cooling?

In my opinion the Hyper 212 is one of best Air Coolers. and def for it's price.

Okay, for close to 100 bucks you get a slightly better Noctua cooler and such but that's expensive for a CPU cooling heatsink with fan.

(okay okay, the Noctuas are the best air coolers, altough they aren't that affordable )
