So what's up everyone, I've got plenty of cash left and so I have been looking for a decent gaming computer for only 1000$ or less and I came up with this configuration:

Opinions on the components and how it will perform?

Thanks already if you're taking time to help me out! :-)

Not bad at all, but I would get RAM that matches the motherboard and try to squeeze in an 8320.

Except the motherboard is Black/Gray. Derp...

I said it was a 970, not a 990 ( did I?) and yes the GPU takes up 2 slots I've noticed. Altough thanks for helping me out.

You said PCIE not expansion :P

The CPU is a fx CPU :)

First things first, where are you shopping? That youtube video is from a Dutch guy. Ofcourse it's the internet so that says nothing. But US/CA/AUD are diffrent prices. Then 2nd question, when will you buy it?

Anyway if you are from the US and buy this system within a few days then this is the build I would suggest.

@CoolBeans approved (I hope)

The only thing I don't really like personally is the case haha. But it pretty much yells AMD TANK. It's just that the internals off the case are pretty old school layed out. So you need to do some nice work with the cables to make it look clean. But the window is not big at all, so  you can't really notice the inside to much. And you have a semi modulair PSU to help with that.
Place 2 sickeflows in the front, 1 as exhaust and 1 on the CM 212 EVO in push.
Crossfire ready.

Here are a few cases you could aswell consider:
Thermaltake Commander MS-I Epic Edition

You would get better performence, because a 8320 is squeezed in, aswell as an H100i which gives you a ton of OC headroom. Also its 16 Gigs of great RAM, and just the same GPU(GPU != model) as that guy. Also you got a fully modular and reliable PSU in here, and last but not least, a bit of silence optimization.

EDIT: R9 version:

For gaming it makes no sence to get the H100i and 16GB off RAM. You won't get much more frames in games by OCing that thing to 4,0 GHz or to 4,5 GHz.

Aswell I recently did a test with BF4 and 2 other games running, while streaming and listening to music streamed from grooveshark with the WAN show running (muted) and I hit 7,1 GB off RAM. That is not something you normally do. But just pointing out that 8GB off ram is more then enough for now.

well look at the price difference to the 8 gig kits the other mentioned.. its seriously a steal lol.. why not go for it? and you enver know what the future says, espacially with Dice/EA giving such high RAM recomendations out for BF4(8Gigs recomended for the full version of the game), also Overclocking isnt the main target in the AIO, the main target is silence. And overclocking will give you performence increases, even if its just a few percentages.

now serious..

89$ 16Gigs (2x8GB 1600Mhz) vs 84$ 8GB (2x4GB 1600MhZ)

stupid to go for the 8GB kit..

Ofcourse I won't be shopping in the US but making a build more available international outside of Europe gets more audience, I can get the same builds for like. 800-900EU if I shop for a while.

Anyways, thanks all for the recommendations on the parts.

Allright did not see the price, only saw 16GB and instant reaction was, no. Yes BF4 recommends 8GB but i'll say that ill smash my current GPU with a hammer and video tape it, if games will use more then 8GB within 1 year. Aswell the H100i is not quieter then the CM EVO i suggested, the stock fans off the H100i are terribly loud. Just because it's watercooled doesn't mean it's super quiet.

Prices are diffrent, in general it is that 200$ GPU = 200€ GPU despite the fact that the euro is value'd higher then the dollar. So it makes no sence to use the USD and put a build together.

Anyway, if you are dutch. There is a site called Tweakers.net, they have a pricewatch wich is pretty good. Anyway here is the same build, kinda. The MSI card is not on the market here yet. And the case is sadly not on the pricewatch. It might be possible to get somewhere here in the Netherlands, but then you have to really look for it.

Hard to edit this list, but you should be able to figure it out. It's picture - name - price. I took the ASUS R9-280x here instead off the MSI, this one is most likely going to cost more then the MSI one, but as said MSI not on the dutch market yet. Aswell I can select to get 4 sickleflows, so you need to ofcourse buy 3 more.

I believe mantle is supported on 7970s

Ow that's pretty awesome! Did not know that. TIL, any source for that? I mean, they are basicly the same card. But I just figured that mantle was build on the card, a chip or something. But if it's software (firmware) and they just need to upgrade.

Yeah this, also Alternate is the site I use the most to purchase hardware for my PC.

And look at 2:01 : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CljK1bUT_oU

Ironic how it is from Eindhoven, shipped to the states and isn't even available here in the country where it came from.
