CS:GO Ping Issues on Matchmaking

Okay, the scenario: 2 Computers, fairly similar.

 

Both on the same desk, one beside the next. The on the right only joins 144-300 ping servers on matchmaking.

 

The one on the left joints 30-40 ping servers on matchmaking.

 

Both plugged directly into the same switch.

 

Any idea why one would only join high ping servers and the next would join low ping servers? Both settings are identical too.

 

Tried validating and deleting/reinstalling already. Is this a secret windows or steam setting? Also, both windows firewall settings match too.

 

Windows 10 Pro current version. Steam client. CSGO. 8MBps (Megabyte, 1024 Kilobytes) connection.

Not sure why one would only join certain servers. But you could set your "mm_dedicated_search_maxping ##" convar to a lower value so that it will only join matchmaking servers with the maximum ping you specified.

 

edit: also you could use the matchmaking server picker program http://gamebanana.com/tools/5684 and block out servers that are far away from you.
