First gaming pc build

Guest

Hi, I have never haved a pc before because i am used to laptops but all have failed me so i now would like a pc.

I want everything needed including, monitor + peripherals + pc for under 550£

Currently i have built this but i need some suggestions on how i could get it cheaper.

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/kVqtnn

Please dont hesitate to tell me improvements as i am not the most experienced with pcs.

The computer would be used to run fps, shooters like csgo and overwatch. I dont mind playing on medium settings as long as it dont look too bad but i want at least constant +60fps on 1080p
I would occasionally do some school work too

Please tell me what you think, Thank you! :)

UPDATE

after some helpful build suggestions,  i changed some stuff so can someone please rate this build? thanks :)

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/WznW4C  rate this build please? most of it was chosen from helpful people above but i changed some,

I don't believe you need to buy the Windows 10 Home Key, you should be able to make a bootable usb on another system and then install from there.I also recommend trying to find a cheaper monitor, that one's pretty pricey.

Yeah, you should just look for a video on how to create a bootable usb for a windows 10 install. All you need is a working pc or laptop with internet, at least a 4GB Usb, and some common knowledge.

Yup. A very high response time will cause blur in moving images as pixels take time to switch color. But below 20ms (which is one fiftieth of a second) the blur is imperceptible.

Unless you plan to go major league CSGO, you shouldn't worry too much about response time as long as it's below 15 or 10ms if you're up for it

Is the RX 460 good for gaming?

Also should the processor be the same price as the graphics card?

Thanks for your builds /improvements

RX 460 is a capable gaming card, the R9 380 is 20% faster but also 50% more expensive. If you want a better GPU for more, the RX 470 is 80% faster for  £170

Yeah, I am very acquainted with Quality PSUs (I help run the new PSU Tier List) and can assure you that the XFX PSU is not only good, but quite a bit better than the EVGA one.

If you can afford the 25 more pounds, an IPS display is worth it. Compared to "Standard" TN monitors, IPS ones have much better color accuracy (and a wider range of color) and viewing angles.

I will stick with the xfx psu then, thanks for the help.

Also with the monitor, is there any you would recommend which is cheaper IPS and has no built in speakers? because i would mostly use the pc with a headset.

Thanks ;)
