Just found an article at eteknix saying that DICE, the studio developing Battlefield and Mirrors Edge, wants to open Linux to the whole gaming industry actually.

Creative director Lars Gustavsson says Linux just need one top title to catch a lot of gamers' attention. Seems like DICE is going to build Mirrors Edge 2 and follow up Battlefield titles on Linux too.

Well, Linux is free and windows is not that cheap so I think the PC as platform could benefit from this because a lot of system builders would save some money.

Good ideas? Your thoughts?
