Intercom system

Hello

I am new to the forum but a long time viewer on youtube.

 

I am looking for a in house intercom system of some kind (or any other ideas. Not wanting to spend a ton of money.

1. need to be multi channel, at least 2

2. i need 3 units, (living room, bedroom, basement)

3. Need it to be wireless.

4. Easy to operate would be ideal. While i am tech savy enough. The other users are not so much

 

I have seen a bunch of systems, the ones i do like have a 4 button setup. which each button could be used for each area. But at 70-80 cdn each. Too expensive. My current methoid is using my cell phone and calling the other person on their phone or the main house phone. (glad i have lots of call time)

 

Any ideas would be great. If i posted to the wrong area please move the post.
