So recently I have been having issues with my wifi. At first I thought it was my network adapter on my pc (archer t9e). But when testing on my laptop I was getting similar results. I checked my channel and I am 2-3 channels away from everyone else. So that makes me think its a isp or router issue; tell me what you guys think it is based on the tests I did below. I tried it on my 2.4Ghz network and my 5Ghz network. Sorry for the spamming of pictures but its much easier to show you than try to explain it. I have been having these problems for about a week now... Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is a picture of a speed test around 50 feet away from my router on my main pc on the 2.4Ghz network. I can connect to the 5Ghz but it drops the signal.

(Before I could connect to the 5Ghz network without any drops around 20ping 30Mbps down 7Mbps up)

This shows my consistent drop of signal on the 5Ghz network when trying to download updates on steam.

This picture is a Ethernet connection around 2 feet away from the router on my laptop. (It is normally like this when wired)

Sounds like an issue with the WIFI radio.

I would try a factory reset on the Router, then re-set all the settings to your desired config, and run SpeedTest again.

If the Router is provided by your ISP (or it's still under warranty), you may need to get it replaced.

@Stevoisboss hmm yeah I didn't notice that before. You should remove these pictures, edit your local copies to black out the IP Address, and re-upload them.

Won't stop anyone who's already had a look at them, but you really don't want your IP advertised to the universe.

Try downloading a WiFI analyzer and see what the channel usage is like in your area. If there is congestion and you're using a commonly used channel try changing to one with less users. You can statically set this in most wireless routers or let it channel hop, I've never had much luck with channel hopping in consumer access points.

If you're encounter errors with 5Ghz freqs it's likely your actual router's RF side of the house is broken.

Have you tried using two different 5Ghz devices to see if it's your router or device?
