laptop stopt working

hi everyone,

my laptop was to slow so i thought i upgrade my ram.

i opened the back of my laptop a to see what sort of ram i had so i could buy new RAM.

I pulled the ram out(gently) the see what brand it is, and put it back in(gently).

i restart my laptop and it turns on but the display remains black.

i don't know what to do now can you guys help me.

 

ps: i have an  HP Pavilion TS 11 Notebook PC in case that matters
