Headphones Under $100

Does anyone have recommendations for headphones under or around $100. The headphones preferably can work with gaming(I think most do). I like balanced sound; not too bass heavy.

Well if you can use open headphones then the SHP9500

Yup, the Philips SHP9500 is your best bet. Ultra comfy with an almost neutral sound.

I have the 9500 they are great. Comfy, and I can wear them for hours and the detachable 3.5mm cable is a big plus.

Slight difference in sound signature, but build quality and resolution is about the same as the shp9500 so it's not worth it to spend $40 more, imo.

I was looking at the shp9500, and the earcups aren't removable. This kind of turns me down because of the material they are made out of.

I would go for the HD 558, no question. Philips build quality has been questionable as of late, and as you noted, the pads are not designed to be replaced.
