I am going to be using fans in my case that will run at 2000rpm and if I use a fan splitter from the fan headers on my motherboard, will, this make the fans run at half the speed because there will be 2 fans using the same header? Also will my fans run at the speed they say if I am not using a fan controller?

One thing to note is a good rule of thumb is to not have more than 3-4 fans per header to not overload it but for high power fans that depends on the fan. As for using a fan splitter on the header it's not a problem and will not lower the speed if you have more fans connected but increase the amperage required to power all of them
