I have decided to add a Graphics card to my Desktop and i can't decide on which GPU to buy.

The specification for my current PC are I5 2500, 8GB ram and seasonic 550w PSU

The options i had are

1. AMD RX480 8GB (around 300USD)

2. AMD RX 470 8GB (around 285USD)

3. AMD R9 390 8GB (around 300USD)

5. GTX 1060 6GB (around 330 USD)

6. USED GTX 970 4GB (around 220USD)

7. USED R9 390 (around 250 USD)

AM i better off buying the used GPU or the recently release GPU. The games that i play most of the time are Project cars and FPS games. The GTX 1060 I'm currently looking at is the Zotac GTX 1060 6GB mini which seems to be the cheapest GTX1060 in my country.

6. USED GTX 970 3.5GB*

Jokes aside, the 390 is better than the 480 and the 1060 is better than the 390: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1771?vs=1747

Those are the benchmarks. I'd recommend the 1060, while the 390 would have a better price to performance ratio (especially when its used), you're still better off with the 1060

They trade, but in reality, the R9 390 used will have a better price to performance ratio compared to the 480, BUT the 1060 is slightly better

Why go for a used r9 390. You can find used rx 480 8gb used potentially selling under $300. RX 480 is newer.
