so i want to upgrade my tn 1080p display and i am thinking to get ultrawide 1440p monitor but because of the price i have hard time deciding to buy it or not

but after i searched my options here are some https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CDYB5CW/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1XBP962TML3AH

and https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01B9IDL4I/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A13BNE3P7C8THK i am thinking these are same monitors but with and without curve

so my question is is getting curved one worth its price because, i will have to spend my whole saving on it and i don't know if just curve is worth it , because i haven't seen ultrawide display myself and i cant compare them

i would try to save for the curved one, it gives more experience at watching videos/movies and also, you are more ''focused'' on the monitor

(remember, its just my opinion)

Ultrawides are.... well... ultrawide. Curved monitors allow you to get a more immersive experience for yourself, as you're not going to be up against weird viewing angles as you get to the further edges of your monitor. with IPS panels these bad viewing angles won't result in heavily distorted colours as they may otherwise do with other panel types.

Curved monitors are great for gaming, watching 21:9 content/movies, and the like. they're great for getting the ultimate experience out of your monitor where the joy of using it is concerned. if all you are doing is working on it, or doing productivity style workloads then your need to have curved is much less as you're not really going to benefit in those programs from what curved will do for you.

It's really preference. Some people prefer the curve and other hardly notice it. As someone with a flat ultrawide I can say it looks fantastic already. I'm not sure the extra price is warranted unless it more than a sutle curve.
