System and compressed memory

Hey guys , its a pretty weird issue im having that i never had before. 

After i do something , i have no idea what but i think what i do is basicaly playing a new game or downloading stuff well , after i do that or not cause i really have no idea if im right , i get some weird stuff. 

my computer gets really slow . when i get in the task manager , theres like something that takes 3gb ram! its called - system and compressed memory. 

Now.. my ram is crap. its 16gb dell 1600mhz or somethin like that , like i got this ram from an office PC cause i had no better choice , all my other parts are pretty gaming oriented though. 

So im wondering - whats the issue? and will getting like hyperx ram or somethin fix it ? DDR3 btw. 

 

(attached a picture) - picture shows 300mb ram taken over , but most of the time it takes so much that my pc is getting suuuper slow , somethin like 3gb
