Nvidia HB bridge issue

Hello there, how far is the Nvidia HB bridge supposed to go when you connect it to your cards? Is it supposed to go all the way in and cover the whole thing or should it stick halfway in?

 

I don't know if the 1080 strix backplate from EKWB could be the issue even though they say on their website that the waterblock is compatible with nvidia hb bridge but they don't specify if it doesn't on their backplate page.

it should connect the SLI fingers on the cards and completely cover those2811785

yeah I think the backplate might be blocking. What amount of force did you use to put it in place?

If the fingers are making contact, it's enough.
