Forget about the first one this instant! Asus K-series laptops are very low build quality. It'd crap up on you soon after the warranty ends.

never ever buy used Asus laptops, the build quality of them all are meh or bad, most of them also have a heat issue and Asus's support is not very nice or that willing to help. Also for 900CAD you should be able to get a Dell 7559

ESPECIALLY IF IT'S FROM ASUS.

well you live in canada and yes you can get a ssd. I just remember that linus said that it was around your budget.
