In general pastel fluid is good and works well with soft tubing as long as it's not tygon, as for long term use it can vary mainly the cleanliness of the loop will dictate that. If the initial loop is thoroughly clean and flush it shouldn't give you much problems. Personally I've ran white Pastel for over a year and it hasn't given me any problem other than minor oxidation from the copper. It has a barely noticeable tinge of green from that but nothing that warranted me any worry.

ok, so tygon is a no go with pastel, what kind of tubing would be best
