Hey,

As the title says: 6600k vs 6700k. Will be paired with 16 gb ddr4, gtx 1070. I am asking as I do occasional video editing during gameplay and it lags on my current i5 750 @ 3.77 GHz. Mainly asking if hyperthreading will help and if I should aim for it. Playing games like BF1, Rainbow six siege, GTA 5 also some CPU intensive games. Cheers

Yes the hyper threading on that I7 will decrease the amount of time it takes to render a video and when your videoing editing during gameplay it wont lag you anymore. I recommend it if you can afford it.

If you can afford the 6700k, it'll be worth it. Even more so if you have a high refresh rate monitor.
