Hello,

I have been trying to figure out how to configure RAID 0 on 2 240GB SSDs as a boot volume. I have been able to successfully configure the RAID, but cannot boot from another, separate hard drive with a clean install of Windows 7 when SATA mode is set to RAID. I have tried to install the RAID drivers form within the OS, but to no avail. I am not sure what to try next and hope that someone here can help me.

Thanks

HW: ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0

        FX-6300

        AMD 970 Chipset

When it's in raid mode, it probably doesn't support individual drives, only arrays.

How you would accomplish having an individual drive attached would be to configure it as a JBOD array with a single disk...but doing so WILL erase the drive's contents.
