New dude here, first post! I am starting a project to gut, mod, and rebuild my old, classic Alienware tower. I am starting from the case up, and replacing everything. My first (likely of many) question is regarding the front USB ports on this old case. I assume these are USB 1.1. Will I be able to utilize these with any of the header connecters on my ASUS Z170-E LGA 1151 motherboard? They originally used circuitboard-based USB connections with two cables that ran out of the rear of the box, and into two of the USB ports on the back of the old motherboard. I was going to order some adapter cables to connect them internally (like female USB connection to the header connecter), but wanted to make sure I would be able to use the actual physical ports in this new setup before placing my order.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I've got a Aurora R4. I was considering doing something like this too.

CPU: Ryzen 5950X Ram: Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR4 3600 CL14 | Graphics: GIGABYTE GAMING OC RTX 3090 |  Mobo: GIGABYTE B550 AORUS MASTER | Storage: SEAGATE FIRECUDA 520 2TB PSU: Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 12 - 1500W | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU & LG C1

@Remixit : Awesome!

Next question. If I get a single 10-pin to dual female USB adapter, can I connect each of my 2 USB connectors to it, and it power all 4 USB ports on the front? Originally it had a single USB run to each of the USB boards (one on each side of the case) which were powering 2 ports each. Will one motherboard connector power all 4?
