Cross-Brand GPUs?

Ok, so here's the deal. I have an R9 390. My friend is offering me a 660 ti. 390 doesnt have nvenc support. Can I use both of them and use the nvenc for recording and the 390 for gaming?

I dont think you can have two gpus working on the same display at once, since CF and SLI exist for that reason. I think you should your only able to use one at once.

It's not on the same display. I'm saying that I install nvidia drivers, have the 390 plugged in and have the 660 ti not plugged in, using it for nvenc
