hi linustechtips. its first time to build personal gaming pc asus z170-a mobo w/6700k cpu and using intel 540m.2 ssd for my bootable OS. the build run smooth in the game and I got better fps but when I power on or first boot time takes me like 45sec or 1min, fast boot on bios setting enable. is this normal? because I was expecting my boot time is less 20sec. thanks and regards

Well, its a SATA M.2 Drive, but it should be faster than that, what OS?
How long does it take to POST? (How long does it take to get past BIOS Screen and begin to start OS)

Many things can make your system boot slower.

My system takes longer to boot because of bitlocker and because I have like 5 drives, not to mention an external drive, sound card and what not, that all need to be "initialized" during boot.
Do you have something like that on your side or do you just have the one M.2 SSD and nothing else?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x16GB DDR4-3200
MOBO: MSI B450m Gaming Plus NVME: Corsair MP510 240GB / Case: TT Core v21 PSU: Seasonic 750W / OS: Bazzite
