Restoring steam games

Its ok i have fixed it, i just needed to click install and it finds the existing files thanks :)

I decided to factory reset my windows 10, so i backed files onto a external ssd, i had also copied my GTAV game directory to the ssd so that i wont have to redownload 60+ gb, i installed steam and put the game back into the steamapps/common folder, but it doesnt show up in my library. does anyone know how to fix this

try adding it as a non-steam game and verifying game cache?
