push/pull Corsair 400C question

On the Corsair 400C when mounting a 240 or 280mm aio to the front im wanting to run push/pull fans for intake. Now my question is, is there room to mount the push fans on the outside of the chassis behind the front plate and still have good breathing room? I seen a review of the Phanteks P400 case which can do this but wondering if the Corsair 400C can also?

There won't be room for fans between the grill and the front panel, unless you can find super slim fans. Also this will mean that you can't use the air filter. Honestly though there is only a difference of a few degrees between push-pull vs a push or pull configuration

right i guess the reason they say the p400 is ok for this is the dust filters are at top and bottom of the front panel? the spacing between the 2 look pretty similar but p400 may be slightly bigger also.

Correct me if im wrong but I looked through the P400 manual and it dosen't mention anything about mounting the fan outside the case

Maybe seeing this will help. I have this case ordered for my new build. It's the smallest case that can hold EATX and looks clean, the 2 reasons I'm getting it

nice, but yea no help really. the push fans in that pic are on the inside of the case. i dont think its possible with the 400c to have them on the outside behind front panel

There must be a reason why you want it to be mounted outside.

basicly to hide the 2 non led lit fans. no other reason really

I was just showing that it's possible to do push/pull. I agree that push/pull is ugly, but also push/pull is overrated and really doesn't do perform better enough to justify the ugly looks or the cost 2 more fans IMO

true lol hence why hiding it would be ideal at only the cost of led fans im buying regardless
