Hi Guys its time for a new Computer - i never build a full rig myself but in the past 10 years i upgraded probably every part in my last 2 PCs. So from a construction side iam quite confident to get this right but i know about what parts i should actually use and thats were u guys come in!

1. Location & Budget:

Germany (Europe--> so i pay in € )

600-700€ (677,5$US -790,4 $US)

2. Aim

80% of the load will be gaming related the target performance here is:

- Has to be able run Current triple A games at High 60FPS

- Should at least be able to start games for the next 5 years (of cause no longer at high or at 60FPS)

-Ideal(but not mandatory) would be if the system could handle VR applications

I love having dozens of Chrome tabs so that should be no problem for the new rig.

And every once in a while i need to run some cpu heavy programming and a few simulations for university stuff.

3. & 4. Monitor and Peripherals

Got a all needed Peripherals and a Monitor so nothing needed here.

5. Why are u upgrading?

My current Desktop is getting kind of old (6 years now) i upgraded a few components over time but it is reaching a point were a new system is more costefficent then upgrading the old one.

Idealy i would like to use as many components from my old Desktop as possible to minimize the cost of the new one - so here is a list:

Old Desktop

-500Gb Samsung 850 EVO SSD

- 1 TB HardDrive

- 300Gb HardDrive

- DVD Burner/Reader

-500W Be Quite Power Supply

-Mid Tower Case ( a bit old and not so great looking now)

- GTX 650Ti

- Intel I5-750

- 6 GB DDR3 RAM

swap out the i5-6500 for the i3-6100 to cut costs

PSU Buy URL http://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/450-Watt-Corsair-CX-Series-CX450M-Modular-80--Bronze_1034119.html

another cost saving measure is to reuse your case, that's up to you, but idk how old your psu is, so i chose a new one :)

Use your old storage and PSUs

For the case stick with your old one and get a new one in the future if you want to

i5-6600k - $$220 USD (Since you need a powerful CPU)

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - $25 USD

MSI Z170-A PRO Motherboard $115 USD

G.Skill Ripjaws V Series RAM 2x8GB DDR4-2400 RAM - $65 (For your chrome tabs)

MSI GTX 1060 $280

Total cost about $700USD

It wont run modern games at high settings, but it should run games at medium settings quite well

Desktop: i7-6700K / Asus Z170 S / H100i V2 / LPX 2400Mhz 16GB / 960 EVO 250GB / 2x 860 EVO 500GB / RM750i  / NZXT H440 XB271H + Z22n Monitors

EU prices for cpus, mobos and gpus are sky high, i would recommend to use EU shops because the prices don't compare to the US
