Best Components for a video coding build.

Hi, I do a lot of video encoding, mostly H264 and x265. I wanted some help in getting the best components, special CPU, GPU, Mobo and RAM, that will best suit my build, I play games as well, but I mostly just play League of Legends and play my old PS2 games on an emulator.

Where you gonna put this system, under water? If you're not, there's no reason to spend over $30 a pop on those Noctua fans. At all. Also, you have your RAM at 2x16. If you want 32GB of RAM, I suggest you go with 4x8 for quad-channel operation instead of 2x16 which limits you to dual channel. Finally, that 1000W PSU is way, way over the top. By punching your system into the Cooler Master PSU calculator I came in at just 544W, so you'd be perfectly fine with a 750W unit.

 

Then again, if you mostly play LoL on your computer besides the video encoding (which can be GPU accelerated) I suggest getting a Z170 platform instead of X99. Better single-core performance and way, way cheaper.

Thanks for the advice, but the computer is for a friend of mine, and not me, I have already gave him similar advise, but since he has money to burn he could care less about the prices. I personally am very grateful for your opinion. If I could ever afford to bild one of these for myself I will definitely take your advice into consideration.
