Microphone issues, HELP

I have speakers connected to my pc, which sound comes out of however my voice is recorded through a microphone on my turtle beach headset. For some reason in skype calls with friends i will play some music or any audio i want to show them, and they will not hear the audio from the speakers, no matter how loud or close to the microphone i play it. But they still hear my voice. I need help fixingg this thanks <3

you need virtual audio cable;

1. Create two lines using Virtual Audio Cable’s Control Panel; Line 1 and Line 2
2. Send Playback to Line 1
3. Send Microphone to Line 2
4. Send Line 1 to Line 2
5. Send Line 1 to Headphones

 

Then there's probably more settings in Skype.
