I feel like spending money on either of those cards for 4K is kind of a waste right now. Depending on what you have currently, waiting a bit more for a proper 4k ultra 60fps card might be a better choice imo. 'Cause neither of those cards will give an amazing experience at 4K

Either of them wont max out games at 4K. So u can either play on lower settings to get your 60fps or wait for Volta because 1080 can play games at 4K almost perfectly. With Volta 4K should finally become reality without paying $700 for a GPU.
