A mobo would be cheaper lol. 120$ to get extra pci e slot is too much.

No. The product page says it requires your motherboard's PCI-e slots and PCI-e power connectors.

That box is actually for connecting to a desktop computer using PCIe riser cables.

I would suggest getting the cheaper option Thunder2 PCIe Expansion Box and doing a DIY guide such like Dschijn's.

I've also seen some people talking about how it might come out later 2016 (The 4th quarter) or maybe if delayed early 2017 (1st quarter)
