So I decided my Dads Birthday is coming up and I have a few extra parts laying around from various other builds, old builds, etc. so figured I would toss him together  new PC. Here is the Pcpartspicker on it, but almost all that stuff is stuff I have. There are only a couple things I need to buy and would like something decent. He doesn't "Game" but he definitely likes to watch HD or 4k Movies, and he wants something he doesn't need to wait around on loading, etc. basically I just need a decent mid range build, or higher low end lol, w/e. I will be buying his Case, so far I am leaning towards the one on the parts picker, but im open minded, I want something kinda neat looking for him, nothing outrageous tho. the big item I need help with is the Motherboard for that FM2+ chip. It sure does feel weird doing a build and NOT buying a grfx card lol.

Thanks,

Rich

The SSD will give him all the boot and general use speed.
The case is nice, if you want mini ITS you could try one of the Thermaltake Cores

Intel i5 6600k @ 4.5GHz | NZXT Kraken X52 | Asus Maximus VIII Hero | Asus ROG Strix GTX 1070 | 16GB DDR4 Corsair Dominator Platinum @ 3200MHz | CoolerMaster MasterCase 5

For your dad's use case, that build is definitely good. But since he watches lots of movies, wouldn't a slimmer case to put next to the TV be a better option? Something like the Cooler Master Mini 110, but with a different PSU (the stock one is WAY too loud, so you're better off replacing it with something like the Be Quiet TFX Gold).
