Hello everyone,

Which one of the released versions of the GTX 1060 do you think is best?

And can you explain me the reasoning behind it

The cheapest non-aftermarket you can find in stock.

Because you can actually buy for a reasonable price and it'll OC just as good as any other. "Thx" Pascal.

Ok, is there a big difference between the 3GB and 6GB ones?

Something like the zotac mini due to it being priced the best I've seen ($250 though good luck finding it now), it's compatibility due to it's size, and it's great reviews. There is no reason to pay more for a fancier card when the mini card clocks the same

Yes, 10% performance hit since it's not really a 1060 it's more like a 1050ti, and of course some games can use that level of vram (shadow of mordor)

Yes. Less cores and low Vram. It's basically in the same league as the Gtx 970 and the RX 480, but worse. No point in buying it. If it was around 170$ to murder the RX 470, it would be a good card.

But as it stands now, it's shjt.

So, cheapest one I can find and with 6GB would be best?

Pretty much... pay more if you want to go for a card you think looks prettier, but that's it.

I believe so, just read some reviews first since I know one of evga's mini's (the non SC one) doesn't cool the card properly
